Beach Bags, Valkyrie Pouches & New Textiles

I've been finalizing some designs this week and I've added a few new things to the shop. I've added two new textiles; an ethnic style upholstery fabric and jute. I wanted to make a more ethnic style bag and I found this amazing fabric at a new store. It's a viscose-polyester blend so it's synthetic, but it works great on a bag. It adds structure and is quite soft. Probably will only make a limited amount of these.

In search for more natural textiles I found jute! Jute is a natural coarse fiber most commonly used to make coffee bean bags. It doesn't feel as rough and scratchy and it has this natural appeal to it. I couldn't resist to add it to my summer collection as it's very summery. I found it in several colors but I went with the azure blue.

New designs in the shop as well. Beach bags and Valkyrie Pouches are here!

The Valkyrie Pouch is a canvas pouch roomy enough to fit cosmetics, sunglasses or phones etc. Made with canvas and unbleached cotton.

The Beach Bag is a very large bag made to carry towels, blankets, food etc, to a picnic or the beach. I've made two pieces; one with natural linen and one with jute.
