Yey organic!

I stepped into an organic supermarket today to pick up some stuff and noticed something wonderful; it was packed! It's so nice to see that the trend is growing and that people are actually becoming more conscious about these sort of things. Organic is in right now and people don't care if they have to pay a little extra. I picked up some light vegan iron tablets and some organic almond milk shampoo. It cost nearly double as it would at the regular supermarket but at least I know that I'm be getting something pure without chemicals and traded fair.

You can see an organic trend building up in the design world as well. I already own a cute and practical skort from gaiaconceptions and it's the most comfy thing ever! It works great on the bike because I'm not so into flashing my undies to people on the street.

I'm looking into some suppliers for hemp canvas myself. It's much stronger than regular canvas, looks great, and growing it is friendlier to the environment than what growing cotton is. I think it would work great on my bags! Anyway, I need to go sew some bags now so I'll be off leaving you with some of my favourite organics:

I'm always on the look out for organic stuff so if you happen to know a cool shop let me know :)
