So I finally finished the men's messenger bag. When I make something I've never made before it always takes me longer. The finished result was a nice sleek messenger bag. I don't have my "signature" floral lining inside of course. I've had to use the guidance of Jesper a lot for this one. It needed a "mans touch". I'm way to girly to know how men like their bags. The bag is made out of very dark denim. It's the first time I've used denim so it was challenging. I used very thick thread as well so it's super sturdy. The downside of that is that it's also hard to take apart. And I had to... many times... take it apart. It was almost as annoying as dealing my with number one enemy: zippers.
Now I'm working with a women's messenger. My friend Sean agree to go on a photo shoot with me around Amsterdam, posing with the bags. Sounds pretty cool huh? He's as crazy as I am so we're going at 7am one morning before work. The light is good then! Speaking about work, I'll be a full-timer as of Monday. Which means that:
a) I'll have more money
b) I'll have less time
So I've postponed release of my new collection till the 9th of March. But plenty of goodies will come. I promise, I'm working on it...
